School Overview

A seed was sown 47 years ago and it has grown into a mammoth institution rendering selfless service to the society.  The school which had its humble beginning in 1979 with 282 students and 13 teachers , today functions with 325 teachers and 8500 students giving a comprehensive education for the holistic development of the pupils.  The school gives equal importance to academics and extra curricular activities including values and etiquettes in all aspects.  SBOAJC  which is affiliated to CBSE practices the motto “Educate and Illuminate” by maintaining a high standard in imparting education.  

SBOA school was started on 6th June 1979 to synchronise with the International Year of the Child. It is managed by the State Bank of India Officers Association, Chennai Circle.
